Fuel System Installation

23

Generator Installations were tasked with installing an 8000 litre fuel tank into the basement of an existing, occupied development. Initially we was asked to complete a site build 8000 litre double skin fuel tank as access was very limited at site, however after a survey Generator Installations designed an innovative solution, installing four, smaller tanks equalling 8000 litre capacity, balanced through a sealed custom designed and fabricated fuel junction box, this enabled the client the capacity they need to run their generator for 72hours without any hot works on site.

The new fuel system was the delivery and positioning of the fuel tanks, replacement of existing fuel transfer pipe work with brugg sexon x and FSR pipework, including fuel transfer pumps and a vacuum leak detection system and fuel conditioning unit.
